Can we get a longer default range for the track name in the theme adjuster! Thanksss!

Been using this a bit more and really starting to like it. A suggestion/feedback from using it:

Would be a nice touch to have the media explorer buttons here either inverted (so they aren't as bright and stick out too much) or to make them more like the play pause stop buttons lower down on the ME.





I've made the general text/font size larger, since I find it a bit small for long periods of use.

Since the media explorer buttons you mentioned were not part of the Default 6.0 images I kind of thought they were part of another inconsistent and immovable part of Reaper. I stand corrected since I checked others themes that have implemented images for theses buttons.

Amazing, I think the image files you'll need to find/mod are:

gen_back_on.png
gen_back.png
gen_forward_on.png
gen_forward.png
gen_refresh.png
gen_up.png

The only other things on the Media Explorer are the colour of the label (is it called?) this white bar with light text is a bit hard to read.



The ME audio preview sticks out quite a bit



I think it grabs the eye's attention less if it were darker with a lighter waveform maybe? like this but that's something I could mod if you didn't like it:

That’s one of the onlythings with this great theme I’m struggling with. Can you point me in the direction of where to tweak this? I’ve tried the advanced UI option. Thanks!

Yes, of course! :-)

The letters in both track name and FX-list and in the transport on top are a bit smaller than the other stuff that scaled with the setting in the Advanded UI tap.

Might (Probably) be a user error on my end :-)

28" monitor, 3840 × 2160 and 1.3 in scaling in Advanced UI.

And @ArKaDaTA if you looking for alternative TCP-designs:

I'm thinking that it'd might be cool to have a more sectionized TCP.

On the right - the normal stuff that's only basic audio related: volume, pan width.

These would work better as readouts, rather than knobs. I think knobs works nicely in the real world because you have hands, where as on a screen letters and numbers work better.

The middle section is everything insert related: Sends, busses, FX's.

On the left you'd have the rest of the stuff you use: automation, routing, fx on/off and so on.

I've made a real bad mock-up of what I'm thinking. Hope it makes sense.

And of course, thank you for your work and a wonderful theme!

Hi ArKaDaTa, there's some weird layout behavior in Windows. I'm using a 4k monitor, using 150% scaling in the Windows display options:



On MacOS, I don't have the same problem with the middle scaling option (3008x2160), but the font is quite a bit small:



Otherwise, I really love this theme, thank you so much for all the work you're putting into it!

If it helps on the Mac side, just have a fiddle with the WALTER fonts in the theme tweak window until you get to the right sort of size.

I'll give that a try just in case, but I imagine I'll just end up making it too big for the places they're supposed to fit in.

Found another slight problem, but it doesn't seem to be a theme setting problem on MacOS: the list text color when selected is also white, making it pretty hard to see. Thing is, in the theme settings, the color is already set to black. The "Do not use window theming on macOS dark mode" option doesn't seem to fix it. (Also yes, I am on dark mode)

Love this theme! There's a big block for me though. The TCP on the Right Side theme doesn't show inserts and sends in the tracks minimized state. The TCP on the Left Side version works perfectly. Any chance you could tweak the Right Side version to work like the Left Side does, with Inserts/Sends shown in the tracks minimized state?

Why is the pan width graphic reversed?

very confusing!

Edit: replaced "tcp_wid_knob_stack.png" with the one from Inquasar Dark Matter theme. Much better!
