Default Project Settings... Format for Apply FX... API?

Hi there -

I'm trying to figure out if there's an API related to Project Settings wherein I could toggle between "Recording Format" and "Wav" for "Format for Apply FX, Glue, Freeze, etc..."

I typically record audio in wavpack lossless (I have a fast cpu, and the disk space benefits are huge for me), however, I regularly need to export samples as wav (I drag and drop using Render as New File). To do this, I go into Project Settings, and flip the format, do the mini render, and flip it back.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to figure out a mouse modifier to swap the format as I render to file (or even prompt for format me each time!) but a custom action/script could work too.

Open to ideas...

Thanks!

There isn't currently an API for this, but we'll add one!

I've uploaded a pair of scripts that I found useful, leveraging this new API.

Just amazing! Thank you. I was really needing this. I was looking for a way to have 2 scripts for freezing: one to WAV and the other to FLAC Really useful stuff. Thanks again.
