Default Reaper 6.76 issues with Waves plugin when dragging item!

I don't know if this happens with any other plugin, but since updating to 6.76 if I drag a midi item down or up to another track while playing back it systematically changes the Waves J37 plugin (on my stem group that the midi tracks are part of) to a seemingly random preset.

Makes the plugin or the reaper version pretty much unusable, especially as I don't know what else it might be doing!

Maybe your plugin reacts to MIDI input and your midi item has midi, which triggers the plugin?

edit: ah, we added support for sending PC for preset change to VST3 plug-ins that have native API support for this. But I think we need to make it opt-in, looking into this now.

That'd be great thanks! Any way to disable it for now on my end?

You can right click the I/O button on the plug-in and disable MIDI input, which will fix.

Or: we just posted 6.77rc1 to https://landoleet.org/ which should fix this, if you want to test that.

That seems to have done the trick thanks a lot!
