Default 6.77 grid bug - Dragging out item edges does not respect grid settings (FIXED)

CONFIRMED by 3 users

I have my grid settings set to match the visible grid division.

At the moment if I have an item, and try to drag out the left or right edge with snap on, it is not respecting grid settings.

Take a look at the GIF

Edit: It seems like only short one shot style media items are effected. Very strange.

Disabel/uncheck "Snap media items to nearby media items up to: X tracks away" option in Snap settings window.

(Or keep it enabled but set number of "tracks away" accordingly, because now if you have it set to e.g. 10 tracks, you are snapping not only to grid but also to edges of any media items existing in other tracks).

Then post screenshot of your whole Snap dialog window, and also arrange window to see what's on the timeline.

Yep. Looks like it snaps to item length like item looped but it's not:

I’ll take a look at this, but this is a very minor bug if so!

Thanks Justin! This one is not minor at all for my workflow which depends on consistent snapping behavior. This bug has caused lots of time wasted on triplechecking that items get placed correctly, constantly having to zoom way in, etc
