The old NO_MASTER_WHEN_SLAVE does work.

When fixing please do not ditch support for the old one for backward compatibility

Can you explain more?

How is do not lead when following” tick box in the track grouping menu supposed to work? I never understood that option or the use case for it vs not using that option when us If VCAs as that’s what I thought it applied to.

To clarify, when a lead control is explicitly manipulated it will lead, that is all its followers will follow, but when such control is affected by another lead which it's a follower of, its own followers won't follow, so consecutive leads don't create a lead chain.
