Default reasurround pan question this time

i just started working with this and went to input a db value for an envelope point on the 'out 1 gain' envelope and it didn't seem to want a value in db. is that right? an oversight? am i supposed to put in a formula? this is really going to slow me down if i can't work in db.

edit:
tried 10^(dB/20) but it didn't like that.

thx,
babag

Ah yes that is an oversight, we can fix it. For now, the value you would type in is 10^((dB-12)/20).

thanks for getting this fix incorporated into 6.81. appreciate the speed on that. i have a new observation.

until now, i've never tried putting reasurround directly onto an item but, in reevaluating my surround workflow for reasurroundpan, i just did so. i'm very happy to see that it does work. one thing that i noticed, though, is that, while the graphics do seem to properly animate the pucks if i use automation at the reasurroundpan item level, the graphic does not seem to follow the cursor when stopped. if i move the cursor by clicking in different places along the timeline (but still within the bounds of the item), the graphic does not update with the position change.

thanks again,
babag
