Hi all! Trying to add time to the beginning of the session. The time I select is 4 beats at 52BPM. For reasons I can't figure out, when I run this, it inserts 4 beats at 55BPM, throwing the entire tempo map off of the grid.
https://imgur.com/a/x6eyUxp If I adjust the newly created 55BPM time sig to 52BPM, the whole tempo map remains off the grid Is there something I'm missing here, or is it a bug? If it's a bug, is there a workaround? Thanks in advance! |

Can you possibly remove all tracks from that project except the master track and tempo envelope, and post it for us to look at?

Thanks for sharing the project. It should work the way you expect if you go to File/Project Settings and set the project tempo to 52 rather than 55.
When inserting space before the initial tempo marker, the project tempo is used rather than the initial tempo marker. This is arguably a bug, or at least unexpected, so we'll probably change it. But for now, changing the project tempo should handle your situation. |

Got it! I was wondering where the 55 came from. I'd say this behavior was not expected, at least for me. Thanks so much for figuring this out for me!
