Virtual MIDI Keyboard - no label on high E

Should the high E on the Virtual MIDI Keyboard be labelled "P"? That key plays an E, at least with my set up (MacBook Pro Sonoma, Reaper 7.0.1)

I guess it isn't always playing an "E", but rather the highest note (a semitone above whatever "0" plays), I forgot above transposing with right-click.
