Default Can't change the master send destination channel

In the gif below:

+ I set the Master track to 8 channels
+ Create a new track
+ Try to change the master send channels on the new track
+ It always revert to default.

I've also tested this after reverting to a default Reaper. It behave the same. Am I missing something?

I just verified here in Reaper v7.001+dev1017 (Win10) and it is working correctly.

Master set to 8 channels and inserted track routed to 1+2 or 3+4 etc. keeps its configuration.

Thanks for your answer. It pointed me that I've totally forgotten to give my config :

I'm using REAPER 7.01, with a 2023 MacBook Pro M2 Pro under Sonoma 14.0

Does anyone reproduce the issue above with a similar setup ?

Edit: could not reproduce on Monterey, but ah, reproduced on Sonoma. Looking into a fix for this!

Edit again: fix coming soon, squarely our bug (while Sonoma changed some behaviors for this corner case, it's still our fault)

Not sure if this is related, but I've noticed since updating to Sonoma, I'm unable to mousewheel-scroll in the Routing dropdown menus, e.g. the Hardware Outputs or Sends.

Used to be I could flick the wheel and get to the bottom of the track list quickly, but now the mousewheel just scroll-zooms the Arrange view.

Possible this is another Sonoma-related issue?

Try today’s pre-release and let us know if it fixes these issues…

Hi Justin, just tried v7.01+dev1021 and looks like the issue is still there (dropdown menus not mousewheel-scroll-able).
