Hi. I have auto rec-arm when track selected enabled for some tracks. And some tcp elements hiden if track not armed. So if you select this track then those buttons appears. Great. But problem is if you click at place where buttons should appear it triggers that button immediately:
![]() The logic is: -Track is unselected so rec-arm disabled -rec-arm disabled so some tcp buttons hidden -track selected so rec-armed -buttons shows up and after that you can use them What is happening now is essentially pressing buttons that are not there at the moment the mouse is clicked. They should appear and become clickable after that first click that was only for track selection, there were no buttons yet. |

1) Regular track. Double click name field to rename - rename
2) Track with auto-recarm. Double click name field to rename - oops, monitoring disabled

There was another thread quite recently about something similar. I cannot remember exactly what it was, but it turned out to be theme dependent. Apparently some themes have record buttons as overlays that cover the whole track area, which then caused what I think was a similar problem.
Have you tried with another theme?

+1 this is a real pain in the a$$
And poor old white tie seems to be getting a lot of the slack for it because a lot of us users can't tell if it's a reaper bug or a theme bug (me included! Sorry WT) Seeing as this has been about for a hot minute, I'm guessing it is not a simple fix! But can be a real workflow killer! Subz |
