I included my test RPP, the exported problematic XML, an example of a partially fixed XML (edited manually) and screenshots of the example in the attached files.
How to reproduce: - Create a new project, with a new track, and a new MIDI item - Insert a long note (for my test, I made a 16 bar long note) - Open the Notation editor, export the track to MusicXML, "score-partwise" Expected behavior: The MusicXML file should contain the info for that note, 16 bar long, so that when it's imported in a notation software (e.g. Dorico) the note has the expected length. What actually happens: The MIDI note is split into 4 times 4 bar long notes. You can see the resulting import of the XML in Dorico in the attached screenshots. I also tried importing into Musescore and got an erroneous result as well with a different project. Some more info: Looking into the XML, I can clearly see the note data for at the measures where the split notes happens is wrong - the "tie type" (and "tied type" which seems related to the notation data itself - I guess the tie symbol) goes "stop" then "start" for the correct measures, and goes only "stop", then only "start" on the next measure for the boundary where the split happens. Manually editing the XML so it goes "stop"/"start" on the same measure produces the intended result. I also attached the manually edited XML with bars 4 to 5 fixed. I should probably also mention - I stumbled upon this problem in a much more complex project, and the split notes seem to happen at arbitrary boundaries (possibly every four measures ?). I couldn't pinpoint any pattern to it except when I created the test project and it split the notes at every four bar boundary. Fixing, thanks for the detailed report. The bug also affects the notation display on screen when in continuous view and the note extends beyond the right edge of the page.
