The manual swing quantize doesn't work the way it did in 7.14. It appears to snap to the grid even when the manual quantize is enabled and should be ignored. Furthermore, and it isn't variable at all, it kind of locks into place.
This gif ending in 24 if the new behavior and the gif ending in 08 is the old, preferable behavior. Edit: After the fact I realized these gifs are poor quality. The bug is reproduceable by trying to quanitze 16th notes with manual swing in 7.15 and the swing slide bar doesn't work at all. Once I find a good gif conversion site, I will update the thread. Thanks for the report -- I think I'm fixing the relevant bug, but to be sure, can you provide a minimal sample project (.rpp) and instructions to reproduce the incorrect behavior?

The file is attached.
How to reproduce: 1. Open the clip in the MIDI editor 2. Q to Quantize 3. Set for manual quantization, 16th notes swing 4. Use the swing slider to adjust the swing. No longer does the swing slider adjust with any kind of accuracy, it simply locks into place based on grid settings and only resets when double clicked on. Thanks for looking into it! |

Thank you, should be fixed in tomorrow's pre-release build, and likely in 7.16 (within the next few weeks)
