If the transport is stopped and I have some latched automation parameters, those latches should be cleared if I move the cursor to a new position (take a look at this old forum post from Justin to see the expected behavior:
https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.ph...45&postcount=4). This is only happening though if I move the cursor backwards (left) and not when I move it forward (right). If I move the cursor forward, parameters remain latched and will start writing if playback is started. Take a look at the gif below. You can see that the latch state of the envelope only gets cleared when the cursor moves backward
Additionally if the preference for "Reset Latch State When Looping" is turend off latches don't clear at all, regardless of which direction I move the cursor
