Project Not Syncing With Media Explorer files v7.28

I'm still having tempo sync problems with versions 7.26 through 7.28 using Windows 10 when referencing wave files in Reapers Media Explorer. I'm using drums on-demand basic WAV files, and the tempo match button is on, but there is still no sync with the project. I have rolled my Reaper version back to 7.25, and all is well with the sync function. I'm not sure why the tempo match function is not working for later versions as the button indicates the tempo match is on but for me, it only works in version 7.25

This is a bug that will be fixed for the next build, thanks for the report. Only certain kinds of embedded tempo are affected.

Yes, this has been the case for the last couple of releases. Most files play as expected, but some files, not sure why, don't follow project tempo. I'm happy it is being addressed. Thanks for all your great work!

I'm in 7.32 on mac and no sync from media explorer-basic 2 bar beats from cymatics with the tempo in the title

I have a tempo change for 8 bars that isn't being followed in ME.

Would love it if generally the transport/space bar start/stop synced ME and the project as standard in every other daw

These loops do not automatically tempo-sync because they are not an even number of beats at the tempo suggested in the filename. If you embed the tempo as metadata, they should tempo-sync, but because tempo in filename is considered unreliable (it's easy to misinterpret the meaning of a number in a filename), it's only used if the file is an even number of beats long at that tempo.
