Default Quantized Transport Controls w/ Continuous Playback (live performance)

I'm not sure if its already possible to do with macros, but I would really like to have the ability to record, play, mute, solo etc quantized to a number of beats or bars or fraction of the loop length while having the audio play continuously.

I can do all of this with Mobius (controlling the track selection and transport with a MIDI foot controller), but its a very limited compared to Reaper (i.e only records audio, no MIDI).

This feature would really go a long way in helping bring the power of Reaper to a live environment.

In fact it would be nice to have a lite version of Reaper (or a way to hide undesired complexity) for live use. Call it LEAPER

Default

Here's a little video I made to show what I'm talking about.

In Reaper it would be perfect if you can set the initial loop length on the timeline and then choose to have all punch-ins/punch-outs happen on the next bar, end of loop, or half-loop.
