Default Bug Fix for Locrian.txt in IX_Scales in ReaPlugs on LOL

By my calculations, the Locrian file is incorrect in

$\ReaPlugs\JS\Data\ix_scales

I've attached the corrected version. Disclaimer: Please verify before relying on me though.

The wrong one is the Spanish Dominant.
In C in would be C,Db,Eb,Fb,G,Ab,Bb.
Well spotted.

The Locrian is the only one completely wrong. The only other one off is the melodic minor, but this is because it is supposed to return or descend down the scale as natural minor.

I've made a large number of extra scale files, if anyone is interested in more choice let me know and I will post them.

I'm a drummer too; that's why I need this.

Is it possible to specify a "downward direction" with this thing?

I'm all about it!

To me this is one of the most exciting things about making music on the computer. Have you guys checked out Tonespace (http://www.mucoder.net/tonespace/)? Its free, and using it with this plugin is magical; the possibilities are sick.

Downward medolic minor has a flattened 6th and 7th, compared to the ascending scale.
Just drop the last two numbers by one, and rename it.

Yeah, I know that. I was wondering if there was a way to make the plugin detect downward or upward playing--but now I realize that's probably not possible.

Thanks, though.

No clue, sorry. Ask JCS.

If your Vsti can select the midi channel it receives, then you should be able to have two Key snaps on different channels, one ascending the other descending. Wouldn't work live, but should work in the midi editor.

Detecting downward motion shouldn't be too difficult but I think I'd have to do some fairly heavy editing to incorporate it into the existing scripts. I had no idea that a scale could be different depending on the direction so I made no provision for it. If anyone feels like doing a mod-job then by all means feel free.
