Default Track icons

I was wondering if anyone has made (or know where to find) additional track icons for Reaper? The ones that do come with Reaper is very good, but it would be cool with custom too. Since I'm a mandolinist, I am a bit disappointed that there's a banjo in the standard icon set, but no mandolin

You can use any image on your computer, click Set Track Icon and browse to it.

Check this thread, there are many icons out there that work, and that I personally like better than the Reaper ones. I got a bit slammed for this. but to each, his own.

Here are some mandolin icons for you:

I didn't crop the neck because I think the headstock is important.

I found it interesting that the stock 64 pixel icons wrap to the bottom of the line when the track height is high, like this:

But 128 pixel icons stay to the side, which may be preferable:

Of course, you lose some meter that way.

Here's some; there's actually a load more than this now including some decent hihats, but they just need compiling. I'll keep you posted.

No you didn't, but I'm sorry if that's the impression you got.

Thanks for the thread link and the mandolin icons!
You're right, the headstock is important on mandolins. If I were to make a small icon, for a mandolin, as distinguishable as possible I would probably take just the headstock or the scroll of a Gibson F5.

Thanks White Tie! I thought all of them was included in the Reaper installer, but I noticed some where not.

Default Track icons

Hi White Tie,

Could you do a track icon of an EBow (in Reaper`s "native" black/grey colors, like the set you uploaded)? That would be awesome. I tried using pics of a real one, but it doesn`t look as good.

And thanks for the set you uploaded, very cool!

Very cool icons. I copied them into the reaper/data/track_icons folder, but it won't read them. I wonder what I need to do to get them to be in the default folder?
